Multisearches are similar to searches on GOOGLE.   They retrieve a lot of information quickly regardless of the source and the format.  Results from a multisearch must generally be narrowed or limited through the use of additional keywords or subjects, by format, or publication date.

  • DISCOVER -- searches Ebsco databases, the Boreham Catalog, and other databases such as JSTOR.   It does not include World Catalog.
  • Proquest Central -- searches across 30 Proquest databases.  No books are included.
